Introducing IT Support Manager Eric McClain

The purpose of this blog post is to introduce you to the people at SealingTech who daily perform their tasks to accomplish their mission of serving you. Here we present Eric McClain, our IT Support Manager.

What was your greatest challenge at SealingTech and how did you handle it?

Creating a ticketing system from the ground up, but with the ST family pulling together, I overcame all obstacles, and now we have one of the most efficient and responsive ticketing systems out there.

What has it been like working at SealingTech?

I am approaching my first anniversary, and it has been a blast. Working at big business companies, sometimes your voice is not heard. Not here. Every opinion matters. You work directly with the owners and speak with all departments, leading to learning more items and getting more views on how the wheels turn.

What customers do you support and how?

I handle all our external clients for incident reporting. From the time they have a question or issue, I assist them in getting a fast and accurate resolution to their questions.

What team do you support at SealingTech?

I manage the customer support team. I accomplish those tasks together with our engineers, project managers, and account managers to keep our operations running smoothly for our customers.

In your view, what is the future of our business?

Learning from each client, continuously updating, and adding new hardware, more robust staff recruiting to meet our phenomenal growth, and purchasing new support tools. We use this power to help meet the needs of our customers. I see us as one of the major competitors in cyber in the years to come.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy hanging out with my kids on weekends, just watching movies and playing video games.
