The SN 5100 edge server can operate as a network security sensor, seamlessly running conventional Intrusion Detection/ Prevention Software. Simultaneously, it can function as a hypervisor, enabling the deployment of virtual machines to support a wide range of mission requirements.

Typical virtualized workloads include Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR), Forensic Analysis, and Vulnerability Scanning.
