While in the US Air Force, SealingTech Capture Manager, Kat White, flew with Airborne operations teams monitoring networks using secure Radio Frequency (RF).
Every day, SealingTech strives to put the best defensive cyber capabilities into the hands of Warfighters across the Joint Force. It’s important for us to engage with industry leaders and strategic partners at conferences like this year’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) Week in Tampa, Florida to build new relationships and understand the Joint Force’s evolving needs.
Members of the SealingTech team who attended SOF Week with me included a 20-year US Army Veteran and an active Army Reservist. Both are senior members of SealingTech’s Business Development team.
I served the US Air Force in Iraq and Afghanistan as a M/C-130 Navigator. I’ve flown with Airborne operations teams monitoring networks using secure Radio Frequency (RF) and Data Links to enable situational awareness.
Needless to say, we know what it’s like to be forward deployed and require the right equipment for the mission at hand.
It’s part of the reason former and active military service members join SealingTech, so we can continue to empower the Warfighter with the tools they need for success.
Two Proven Mission Partners in One
At SOF Week, Parsons and SealingTech demonstrate the importance of putting the best defensive cyber capabilities into the hands of warfighters.
At SOF Week, we got the opportunity to promote our Cyber-Fly-Away Kits, alongside our parent company, Parsons who showcased their innovative all-domain technology solutions to enhance autonomous search and rescue operations.
Together, we engaged with the SOF community as well as international partners. We demonstrated how SealingTech’s edge innovation combined with Parsons’ extensive experience across federal, critical infrastructure, and global security domains helps put the best defensive cyber capabilities into the hands of Warfighters.
Combined as one, we can meet our customers’ evolving mission needs across all domains.
Strengthening Our International Partners’ Capabilities
At our booth, we spoke with US and foreign military as well as Federal agencies interested in partnering with us. We met warfighters across the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and discussed their mission requirements, operational needs, and how SealingTech can help.
A highlight for me was meeting our Australian partner, Criterion Solutions, who helped our SealingTech team this past year conduct training with the Australian Cyber Defense Force as part of our global interoperability and readiness efforts.
To ensure our US allies have access to the latest cybersecurity capabilities available, we actively work with them to understand how we can add to the cyber defense systems that they already own. As part of our foreign military sales and direct commercial sales agreements, SealingTech provides lightweight, modular Cyber-Fly-Away Kits to the host nation. Our team also trains their operators on Kit deployment and general defense.
The importance of building international partnerships was a common theme throughout the presentations at SOF Week. One that SealingTech is aligned with to ensure our partners’ defense capacity.
Presentations that Resonated with Me
At SOF Week, I attended a few talks and listened to some via live streams. I enjoyed learning about SOFWERX, a non-profit group that helps solve Warfighter challenges by bringing together subject matter experts to help accelerate these much-needed innovations. Since SealingTech works to solve Warfighter challenges through our defensive innovations, I found this organization especially interesting.
What stuck with me was how SOFWERX helps those with proposed solutions reach companies that can partner and supply the funding. Their team also assists in the modifications of new and existing innovations to bring these builds to life.
My biggest takeaway came from the closing keynote address given by General Dan Caine, the new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In his talk, he called upon SOF to be “more effective and more efficient than ever.” He also reiterated the first SOF truth, “Humans are more important than hardware.” A sentiment we all share at SealingTech.
That’s why we focus on delivering defensive cyber solutions that empower a faster, smarter, more lethal, and agile force. Our mission goes beyond innovation—it’s about ensuring SealingTech Innovations enhance Warfighter performance at the tactical edge, seamlessly scaling anytime, anywhere.
