Meet Donny Brittingham, Network Security Engineer II in SEM

What do you do for fun?
In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, spending time with my family, and VR Boxing.

What is your greatest challenge at SealingTech and how do you handle it?
If you have ever been to the Enterprise Modernization Center (EMC), you will see the amount of equipment we have. It is easy to get overwhelmed with the amount of work that needs to be done to meet deadlines. I find the best way to manage it is to set incremental goals to produce small wins and build towards greater success.

What has it been like working at SealingTech?
I have been with the company for nearly five years now and it has been great. I have been able to witness SealingTech products go from prototypes to full-blown, mass-produced systems. I am excited to see what the future of the company looks like.

What team(s) do you support at SealingTech?
I support the Secure Enterprise Modernization (SEM) team focusing on projects that come through the EMC.

In your view, what is the future of our business?
With the leadership we have in place and the group of creative and insightful people in the company supporting the DoD, the sky is the limit. I see the company continuing to build on the tools we already have and put a greater focus on Machine Learning and automation to streamline tasks to assist our growing list of clients.

What do you think makes SealingTech a unique environment to work in?
What makes SealingTech a unique work environment is the collaboration and camaraderie between team members. The culture helps promote efficiency in completing tasks, as well as leadership’s recognition of its employees helps uplift each team member. Additionally, the monthly meetings, picnics, Field Day, and holiday parties makes SealingTech feel like a family environment.
